Hiếm muộn là một vấn đề rất phức tạp và tế nhị được các ngành y học, tâm lý học và xã hội học quan tâm tìm hiểu dưới góc độ nguyên nhân và hậu quả của hiếm muộn cũng như các triệu chứng tâm thần có liên quan. Mục đích của nghiên cứu tổng quan này là làm rõ nhu cầu hỗ trợ tâm lý - xã hội hay tìm kiếm các dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe tâm thần của các cặp vợ chồng hiếm muộn. Bài viết này là một đánh giá dựa trên thông tin từ các tài liệu đã xuất bản bằng tiếng Anh và tiếng Việt từ ngày 1 tháng 1 năm 2000 đến ngày 31 thảng 12 năm 2021 trên PsychINFO, PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Web of Science, Researchgate... bang cách sử dụng các từ khóa sau: hiếm muộn, vô sinh, nhu cầu hỗ trợ tâm lý - xã hội. Trong phần tổng hợp này, chúng tôi đã thảo luận về các nhu cầu hỗ trợ tâm lý - xã hội thường gặp ở người hiếm muộn cũng như sự cần thiết phải có các dịch vụ hỗ trợ tâm lý - xã hội với người hiếm muộn trong việc làm giảm các vấn đề khó khăn, rối nhiễu tâm lý và tăng tỷ lệ thành công trong điều trị vô sinh, hiếm muộn.

Infertility is a very complex and delicate issue ofmedical, psychological and sociological interest in terms of the causes and consequences of infertility as well as the related psychiatric symptoms. The purpose ofthis review is to clarify the need for psychosocial support or mental health services sought by infertile couples. This article is a review based on information f-rom published literature in English and Vietnamese published between January 1, 2000 and Decembre 31, 2021 in PsychINFO, PubMed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Web ofScience, Researchgate... using the following keywords: infertility, unable to reproduce; infertile; needs for psychological support; needs for psychological help, needs for social support; needs for social help; psychosocial support needs. In this compilation, we discuss the psychosocial support needs commonly encountered by infertile people as well as the need for psychosocial support services to reduce problems, psychological disturbances and increase success rates in infertility treatment.
