Solution-phase combinatorial synthesis was applied to transform D ring of the main three ent-kaurane diterpenoids of Croton tonkinensis Gagnep. (Euphorbiaceae) into their oxygenated derivatives. Structures of the reaction products were confirmed by using MS, 1D and 2D NMR techniques.
