Tetrastichus brontispae Ferriere (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) is a new exotic pupal parasitoid species of the coconut hispine beettle (Brontispa longissima). Therefore, understanding of biology of the wasp is very useful to develop a mass rearing system. Study on effects of temperature on the parasitioid at temperatures of 25°C and 30"C, relative huminity of 80 - 90 percent, and a photoperiod of 12L: 12D was conducted in the laboratory. The results indicated that pre-pupae to 3 days pupae of the coconut beetle were suitable host for the parasitic wasp. Parasitism pupae of the coconut beetle was 56.0 - 90:6 percent, the percentage of emergence was 95 percent. Developmetal time of the wasp was 18.81 days at 25°C and 16.80 days at 30°C. Longevity was 13.63 and 8.69 days at 25.C and 30°C, respectively. Population multiplier of the parasitoid was 6.04 at 30"C and 10.59 at 25°C. As results, the temperature of 25°C is an appropriate rearing condition of T. brontispae. However, the parasitoid's population can be developed in the higher temperature (i.e. 30°C). Population multiplier of the parasitoid was higest (21.08 times) with the ratio of 3 host :1 parasitod. Therefore, rearing T. brontispae should be done with the ratio 3 host: 1 parasitoid in the temperature of 25°C.
