The organization of inspection activities is one of the most discussed matters during the process of developing the law amending the Law on Inspection of 2010, including the one for the arrangement of local inspection: the Provincial Inspectorate, Provincial Department Inspectorate, and District Inspectorate. The Law on Inspection of 2022 has made significant adjustments to the organizational structure, functions, mandates, and powers of provincial and departmental inspectorates. However, the matter of arrangements for district inspection activities - which is a hotly debated topic on the National Assembly forums and in the media - has remained almost unchanged compared to the current law, which raises questions that need to be reviewed, studied for further improvements.
