The article points out perceptions and thoughts regarding Vietnamese traditional cultural values, as made by Vietnamese people in the context of international integration. Based on these observations, the authors present in a systematic manner those tr.aditional cultural values which it is felt should be included in schools. Also addressed are changes in traditional cultural values in contemporary society and their affect on the development of general education curriculum after 2015.
