32 species were listed in this Updated Checklist, most of them (26 species or 80 percent) were listed as Threatened (3 as Critically Endangered (CR), 8 as Endangered (EN) and 15 as Vulnerable (VU). Two species were reduced to the rang of variety. The names, taxonomic relationships of not a few species or groups of species (Keteleeria davidiana and K. evelyniana. Nageia fIeuryi and N. wallichiana, Taxus chinensis and T. wallichiana, Tsuga chinensis and T. dumosa, Podocarpus annamiensis, P. pilgeri and P. neriifolius) are needed to be revised by having more and well specimens as well as using other methods of study, first of all the molecular one.
