Kinh tế tập thể (KTTT) với nhiều hình thức hợp tác đa dạng như: Hợp tác xã (HTX), tổ hợp tác, liên hiệp HTX… đã hình thành, phát triển trên thế giới nhiều thập kỷ qua; ở Việt Nam mô hình này cũng đã hình thành, phát triển hơn nửa thế kỷ, đóng góp quan trọng cho sự nghiệp đấu tranh giải phóng dân tộc qua các thời kỳ và phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của đất nước, được thể hiện thông qua các quyết sách của Đảng, pháp luật của Nhà nước, mà dấu mốc gần đây nhất là sau Đại hội IX với việc ra đời Nghị quyết 13-NQ/TW ngày 18/3/2002. Đến nay, sau hơn 20 năm mô hình KTTT với nòng cốt là mô hình HTX đã trở thành mô hình phát triển tất yếu, khách quan, có ý nghĩa chiến lược, lâu dài trong tiến trình phát triển nền kinh tế thị trường, định hướng xã hội ở nước ta. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh kết quả đạt được vẫn còn không ít bất cập, đòi hỏi KTTT cần đổi mới, đa dạng hóa mô hình theo chiều sâu, liên kết chặt, phát huy thế mạnh từng ngành hàng, lĩnh vực, tạo chuyển biến, bắt nhịp với cuộc Cách mạng công nghiệp 4.0 thì mới đảm bảo nâng cao hiệu quả, phát triển bền vững.

Collective economy with many diverse forms of cooperation such as: Cooperatives, Artels, cooperative UNI0Ns... has been formed and developed in the world for many decades. In Vietnam, this model has also been formed and developed for more than half a century, making an important contribution to the cause of national liberation struggle through the periods as well as to the country's socio-economic development, expressed through the Party's policies and State's laws, the most recent milestone after the 9th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam was the issuance of Resolution 13-NQ/TW dated March 18, 2002. Up to now, after more than 20 years, the market economy model with the core of the cooperative model has become an inevitable, objective, strategic and long-term development model in the process of developing the socialist-oriented market economy in our country. However, besides the achieved results, there are still many shortcomings, requiring the market economy to innovate, diversify models in depth, closely link and promote the strengths of each industry and field in oder to create changes and keep pace with the 4.0 Industrial Revolution, ensuring improved efficiency and sustainable development.
