Stress, anxiety, depression are common mental illnesses in life. Some previous researches in Vietnam and around the world showed that those disorders among students are relatively high. Therefore, it is essential to determine all students' mental health status at Vi Thanh high school for the gifted. Based on that, we can offer the most suitable backup solutions. To determine the prevalence of stress, anxiety, depression, and related factors among students at Vi Thanh high school for the gifted in Hau Giang province. Methods: A cross-sectional study, was conducted f-rom September 2019 to July 2020 on 718 students of Vi Thanh High School, Hau Giang province, who were presented at the time of the study. All students needed to complete a set of structured questions, then using the DASS-21 scale to define the level of those disorders. Results: Among 718 students took part in this research, the outcome illustrated that the percentage of students suffering f-rom stress, anxiety, and depression were 52.1%, 63.8%, 42.1%, respectively. The rate of getting one of those conditions was 24%, getting two of those conditions was 26%, and getting all states was 27.3%. Stress was associated with students who had religion, were grade 12, students who often subjected with self-pressure, felt pressure before examinations and had contradict their families (p <0.05). Anxiety rates were higher in students who frequently had self-pressure, pressure before examinations, contradict their families, while students who did physical exercised more than four times a week had lower anxiety rate (p <0.05). Depression rates were higher in students who felt inferior to their peers and students who had good relationships with teachers had lower rates of depression than students with normal relationships (p <0.05). Conclusions: For these methods to implement effectively, it requires coordination f-rom many sides: students, families to schools, and even researchers.
