Report the case of a 17-year-old male patient, admitted to the hospital because a foreign body in his left eye pierced the eyeball due to a traffic accident. Computed tomography (CT) image shows a 17cm-long contrast-enhanced metal foreign body in the left eye socket, passing under the superior wall of the posterior ethmoid sinus, sphenoid sinus, and pituitary fossa deep into the brain stem. , right edge pons and ends in right hippocampus. The length of the intracranial foreign body is about 12cm. The foreign body is located close to the medial edge of the right internal carotid artery in the cavernous sinus and close to the right posterior cerebral artery, but no signs of cerebral vascular injury have been observed. The patient received a controlled foreign body removal intervention under digital subtraction angiography (DSA) with multidisciplinary cooperation. After the intervention, the patient recovered well, half of the left person's weakness gradually improved. Conclusion: Trans-ocular-baseline foreign body removal can be performed under digital subtraction angiography (DSA) with multidisciplinary cooperation.
